Chrysalis

This piece is about trying to organize feelings that seem completely contradictory or nonsensical. Feelings such as grief, bittersweet nostalgia, affection, righteous anger, etc. can be so vibrant that they are not easily compartmentalized. It is about when you have so many emotions about so many different things, and you cannot pin any of them down. I feel like all of those emotions boil back to the way that we love each other.
