"Squiggly Blues" by Sydney Elliott

For this vessel, I threw it on the wheel and once it dried, I applied black underglaze as the stripes with white underglaze as the dots. I dipped it in the blue glaze, which turned out beautifully. This piece breaks away from traditional glazing to create a fun pattern. This piece and all its inconsistency reminds me of the free-flowing vibe of Alice in Wonderland, which connects back to this year's theme.
